Please help dance tonight?

I'm really excited, I have a new outfit picked out. It's a denim skirt and a cool roxy tee shirt. I love it! At the dance they have a part where you are supposed to slow dance, but nobody really brings "dates" they just have fun with their friends. What should I do during the dance part if nobody wants me to dance? I don't like anyone, most of the people who are going are really unattractive but I'm worried about an uncomfortable situation. Should I just go sit, I'll feel like I look desperate.
