Crazy question asking what youd get charged with in this situation?

ok so ive been thinking about this just out of curiousity.... alright what if some random guy found out about a big dirty drug money deal and say these drug dealers put a lot of money away somewhere while waiting to exchange it for more drugs or something, well what if some random guy unarmed found it and stole it and later the authorities arrested everyone including the average joe guy, now what would that average guy be charged with if he was unarmed and took money that was already stolen?? i just was curious no im not that lucky that it happened to me i wish lol. but i was just wondering what charges would be brought against the guy?? i mean is it illegal to take money that was already stolen??
