Why do rich/wealthy people of society look down on anyone not in their cl?

The majority of "rich" people are like lobsters in a tank, crawling all over all the other lobsters in order to get to the top. Perhaps they feel superior because of all the people they were able to betray or obliterate. In the end, it's not an honorable way of life, and most of them are not really happy. Also, the lobster at the very top is the first on to get thrown into a boiling pot. The next time a "rich" person condescends to you, think of that boiling pot. Really.
