I need advice from guys please.?

Has he ever been married before? Or was in a long term relationship that might have ended drastically or hurt him really bad? Those could be big factors with him. If not, your probably going to have to reach a point to where you will just have to ask him what are his intentions. If he couldnt handle you asking, then he wouldnt be worth the trouble. Only reason I say that, is because yall are old enough that you both should be able to talk about things in an adult manner. I learned a long time ago, that alot of times in life, i should have just asked and I would have not wasted so much time on certain situations. Hope it works out for the best
