Do you agree with Ron Paul that monetary policy(qe1,setting interest rates) should be in the hands of congress?

Good Grief no. Remember it is congress that thinks it's a good idea to subsidize corn farmers not to produce food, but to produce ethanol in the most inefficient way we know. It is congress that thinks the military should have 2 engines for its new fighter jet when the military says it only needs one. Leaving congress in charge of interest rates means rates that serve the squeaky wheel or the best lobbyists.
