Can a man with AC genotype marry a woman with AS genotype?

You could marry most anyone, but you should look on a sickle cell anemia website before you have children. Even if the person has only one gene w/ sickle cell they can p it on to their children, and on top of that if the other person has the abnormal C genotype then one would have to worry about the 25% of their children who could end up w/ both abnormal genes. I would make an appointment with a geneticist and possible discuss adoption. By all means get married though, Good Luck to you!
