Also Carina it looks like they may be adding a 3 GBP charge as well as the 2 GBP activation fee according to the oyster online London transport site. This is what it said. " Please note: a �3 refundable deposit is payable on new cards that hold pay as you go credit only. From 17th May onwards this deposit will be payable on all new Oyster cards."
